About Me

It’s a convoluted story, really... How a girl from Scotland ended up here. I grew up in a small town on the West Coast, always cheeky and good with words from a young age, chatting to anyone about anything. I even dabbled in reciting Burns poetry competitions... You know, the crazy Scot addressing the mighty Haggis?! Hello!

After a brief detour studying psychology, I did the obvious thing and moved to the Canary Islands at 18 to become a scuba diving instructor. Words weren’t quite as easy to convey underwater, but my fascination with body language, human behaviour, and non-verbal communication continued (with humans and marine life alike!)

Coaching people through fears of the ocean, from drowning to claustrophobia, taught me a lot about nerves, control, and building confidence. I delivered briefings and courses to groups of students, and over the past decade in my current career, I’ve presented to teams, clients, CEOs, and heads of business.

And then came the moment that sparked this side hustle: a lovely friend asked for help with his groom's speech. From there, his two sons wanted coaching too. Helping them craft something personal, touching, humorous in the right places, with confidence, and memorable. This reminded me why I love guiding people through their fears, and the fear of public is alive and well! Being able to help with something so personal, so important, when it all comes together, is an incredible honour

Now, I help people from all walks of life deliver speeches that are authentic, confident, and unforgettable; whether it’s at a wedding, a corporate event, or any moment that really matters.
